Newborn bathtime

When to Schedule Classes

We recommend that you finish your Childbirth classes at least one month before your due date.  The rest of your classes you can take up two months before, but any earlier and the information that you learned might be forgotton.

Infant massage class is to be scheduled for after your baby is born. Bring your baby with you to this class.

If you are having multiples you might want to complete your classes more than one month before your due date.

The first aid class will make more sense if you take infant-child CPR first.

Parenting and Breastfeeding Services is a privately owned business that has been around over ten years.  We provide lactation support while you are in the hospital.  We have a warm line in which Breastfeeding Specialists are available to answer breastfeeding questions during normal business hours.

We also have Board Certified Lactation Consultants available for private consultation.  Our store is located in Good Samaritan Hospital the proceeds of which fund our Breastfeeding and New Mom support groups.

We have classes to prepare you for Childbirth, Breastfeeding, Caring for your Baby, Infant-Child CPR, Infant-Child First Aid, Sibling adjustment, Infant Massage, New Dad Preparation and more. You don't need to deliver at Good Samaritan to attend our classes or support groups.
