Breastfeeding Specialists are available to answer brief questions and evaluate the need for a more comprehensive consultation.

This service is provided free of charge, it doesn't matter in which hospital your baby was born.

Breastfeeding Consultations

A personal consultation includes a review of your breastfeeding history, discussing your concerns, physical assessment for breastfeeding including baby's weighed feed, observation of a breastfeeding session with assistance from one of our lactaion consultants.

Breastfeeding Support Group

A chance to ask questions, weigh a feed.  Talk to a Lactation specialist and other mothers who are breastfeeding.  Every Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00pm in Auditorium in basement in Good Samaritan. 

Breastfeeding Class

Breastfeeding is a natural first step in the continuum of pregnancy.  This class is designed to help provide parents with a better understanding of the advantages and benefits of breastfeeding for mother and baby.

Topics will include positioning, problem solving and pumping.  Partners are encouraged to attend.
