Fenugreek

 What is Fenugreek?

In 1945, an Egyptian researcher reported that fenugreek was a potent stimulate for breast milk production.  In fact its use was associated with increases in milk as much as 900%.

Dosage

3-5 capsules 3 time a day with meals, please consult with your Lactation Consultant for specific instructions.

Side Effects

Few women report adverse effects from fenugreek, although some may notice a licorice type odor to their urine and sweat.

Women with IBS may experience stomach cramping and diarrhea which subsides when the dosage is decreased or discontinued. If you suffer from hay fever talk to your doctor or Lactation Consultant.

Mothers with Diabetes should use caution because of the herbs tendency to decrease glucose levels.
